Tempo and Tap
- 120 BPM metronome — Open a metronome at 120 quarter-note beats per minute in 4/4. Adjust the tempo or press Start when ready.
- Tap tempo metronome — Tap three times to set a pulse, then start the metronome. The default entry tempo is 120 BPM in 4/4.
Time signatures
- 2/2 metronome — Practise 2/2 with two half-note beats per bar. The metronome opens at 120 half-note beats per minute.
- 3/2 metronome — Practise 3/2 with three half-note beats per bar at an initial 120 half-note BPM.
- 4/2 metronome — Practise 4/2 with four half-note beats in each bar. The entry state is 120 half-note BPM.
- 2/4 metronome — Start in 2/4 with two quarter-note beats per bar at 120 BPM.
- 3/4 metronome — Count three quarter-note beats per bar in 3/4, initially at 120 BPM.
- 4/4 metronome — Open a 4/4 metronome with four quarter-note beats per bar at 120 BPM.
- 5/4 metronome — Practise five quarter-note beats grouped 3+2 in 5/4. Change grouping to 2+3 in Meter settings.
- 6/4 metronome — Practise six quarter-note beats grouped 3+3 in 6/4, with 2+2+2 also available.
- 7/4 metronome — Practise seven quarter-note beats grouped 2+2+3 in 7/4, with alternative groupings in Meter settings.
- 3/8 metronome — Count 3/8 as three eighth-note beats per bar at the initial 120 eighth-note BPM.
- 5/8 metronome — Open 5/8 grouped 3+2 at 120 eighth-note BPM; 2+3 is available in Meter settings.
- 6/8 metronome — Practise 6/8 as two dotted-quarter beats per bar at 120 dotted-quarter BPM.
- 7/8 metronome — Open 7/8 grouped 2+2+3 at 120 eighth-note BPM; other groupings are available.
- 8/8 metronome — Practise additive 8/8 grouped 3+3+2 at 120 eighth-note BPM, distinct from four equal quarter beats.
- 9/8 metronome — Count 9/8 as three dotted-quarter beats per bar, initially at 120 dotted-quarter BPM.
- 11/8 metronome — Open 11/8 grouped 3+3+3+2 at 120 eighth-note BPM, with another grouping available.
- 12/8 metronome — Practise 12/8 with four dotted-quarter beats per bar at 120 dotted-quarter BPM.
Rhythm and accents
- Metronome subdivisions — Hear eighth-note clicks between the four main quarter-note beats in 4/4 at 120 BPM.
- Between-beats metronome — Practise in 4/4 with main beats silent and intervening off-beat clicks audible.
- Custom metronome accents — Open a four-beat accent pattern of Accent, Normal, Soft and Mute, then edit each beat independently.
- Triplet metronome — Hear three evenly spaced triplet positions per quarter-note beat in 4/4 at 120 BPM.
- Sixteenth-note metronome — Hear four evenly spaced sixteenth-note positions per quarter-note beat in 4/4.
- Compound-meter duplets — Open 6/8 in two dotted-quarter beats with Duplets placing two equal clicks inside each beat.
- Eighth-note swing metronome — Open eighth-note Subdivisions with a 2:1 shuffle swing ratio in 4/4.
- Sixteenth-note swing metronome — Open sixteenth-note Subdivisions with a 2:1 sixteenth-level shuffle ratio in 4/4.
- Backbeat on 2 and 4 — Open 4/4 with beats 1 and 3 muted and audible clicks on beats 2 and 4.
